A Little Light at Christmas

A Little Light at Christmas

There’s something special about a Christmas tree lit up at night. Before twinkling lights and extension cords, that glow came from real candles placed on evergreen branches.

The tradition began in Germany, where families used candles on their Christmas trees to represent the light of Christ. In the darkest part of the year, those small flames served as a reminder of hope, warmth, and faith. The focus wasn’t on decoration or perfection, but on meaning and tradition.

Thankfully, we’ve learned a thing or two since then, and candles no longer belong on Christmas trees (for very good reason). But candles themselves still carry that same feeling. They bring warmth into our homes, spark familiar memories, and help make December feel like December.

From our family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your holiday traditions this year.
