We wanted to take a moment to introduce Megan, the new owner of Ashman Candles!
Megan is a wife and a mom to three beautiful kids. She grew up in Orem, Utah, just up the street from Todd Ashman. She can’t remember a time when Ashman Candles wasn’t part of her life. The fragrances were always part of her home growing up.
She studied Ballet Performance at BYU, and while her days now look very different, that background shaped her appreciation for craftsmanship, detail, and doing things well.
Megan has always loved animals. At home, she cares for one cow, fourteen chickens, two cats, two dogs, and bees — and she starts every morning at 5:30am milking her cow before the rest of the day begins.
During the summer months, you’ll usually find her in her cut flower garden, growing flowers and putting together fresh bouquets nearly every day.
She loves being warm, watching snow fall, and fully leans into the holidays — Christmas music starts November 1st, and she’ll always choose a live Christmas tree, even if it means a little extra maintenance.
Right now, her favorite scents are Frasier Fir and Berries N’ Spruce, two fragrances that capture everything she loves about winter — fresh evergreens, warmth, and the feeling of the season settling in.
